Thanks for explaining it to me, but I understand this concept. It reminds me of their Kindle Fire, and it costing more to make than they sell it for. It's a way to get people in the door.

I like this post a lot.

If over 600,000 people have already bought one...let's say it goes up to 800,000 by the end of the day, though I expect it to hit 1,000,000, that's $4,000,000 out of Amazon's pocket, and $5,000,000 out if it hits a million purchases.

I DONT CARE

Thanks but I knew this existed, I just don't care. If I am to upgrade it will be in a couple years I have every confidence there will be a better work around.

If I'm forced to use windows 8 at some point, I will find a way to disable metro, as it has no place on anything but a touch screen.

Yeah, it's okay to paint a certain group as the bad guy if it's long enough ago or doesn't directly affect you, but heaven forbid it's someone of the same race as me. >.>

He wouldn't, but here we are talking about his product, only because he shot himself.

I agree with you. This is a great way to sell a product, to prove it works. It just so happens that what he's selling is something that stops a lethal weapon.

Why?

I gather that he tested it plenty of other times too, so he probably was only worried about the inevitable sting of the bullet.

That's standing behind your product! No way to know if it works without testing!

If I had $600 to spare, I'd buy this buuuuut, I don't :(

Never hurt me from all the years I've swallowed shower water. Also, if you clean your bathroom frequently, this is less of an issue.

That was incredibly uninformative. I do hope it helps other people, but intuition has already led me to these types of solutions.

This is a more immediate, best-of-both-worlds type thing.

Samsung and HTC own the market. I'd mention Motorola, but Google owns them now, so I'm not counting it.
