Only an hour? I was in line almost 2. But i wanted to go for the fun of it.

Suffice it to say, the more I know about computers and how they work, the more they confound me.

Haha, Buy More. Favorite. Show. Ever.

Where's my Skyrim minecraft mod?

If higher numbers are farther rendering distances, then mine are set as far as rendering goes, in the View Distance tab. Unless there's another way to dig deeper into the settings, without editing .ini files, I'm sure everything is maxed.

Well, let me clarify that by saying that you have to log into your live account to play Arkham Asylum anyway (or at least that's what I believe to be true) so it's only for those games that have this interaction with live.

you are correct in that. just saying the companies are in competition.

oh and I just checked. 30fps stable, except when i decide to turn really fast, then it stutters.

Ah, well I'm 1620x 1080, and I never checked the FPS. I have found that in some cases I find a game more than playable at frame rates others seem to cry about.

Yeah, it was neat when my recently obtained copy of Arkham Asylum for PC gave me achievements for my Xbox Live account.

Jeez I remember back in the day where the graphics improved with each new game. They've felt stagnant for the past couple years now. I'm definitely upset about EVERY game releasing as a console port. None of these games feel like they're supposed to be run at 1080p or higher. As much as I love Skyrim right now,

Yes, but only after you reached the required level to unlock it. The only thing credits did was give you the freedom to unlock other items like semtex or the claymore, as well as weapon attachments, in the way you wanted. But again, only after you reach the required level to be able to purchase the weapon.

That sucks, but more power to ya. There ARE in fact better things to do with ones life than video games. After 50 hours logged in Skyrim, I got a Kindle in the mail, now I'm fighting the urge to play as I read. haha

Considering that Activision and Blizzard joined up a while back, I'd say it's competition.

I don't get why "camping" is hated upon. If one isn't aware of one's own surroundings to notice, and just runs through the map, perhaps that individual deserves to get killed by said "camper", or as I like to call them, strategist.

This is exactly why I loved Portal 2 so much (aside from it being a great game). Buy it for PS3, get PC free!

When I first ran Skyrim I saw it tell me that it was "detecting optimal settings" and thought "oh here we go, gonna put them too low, gotta spend 20 minutes adjusting" and then I saw it set it at everything max...so I thought "lol it set it too high, crappy frame rate, here I come."

I've never faced one of those. So far, I've been owning dragons, blood dragons, ice dragons in the face...just wish the people living in the town that the dragon is landing on top of had more of a reaction to me slaying it and leaving its bones in the street.

If you have them on a UPS (or have a basic corded phone) you can. :)
