They’re calling it ‘mobility’ and ‘car sharing’ (cause the sharing economy is so hot right now - oh wait, was so hot a while ago...), but really what they’re saying is that they’ll be a provider of fleet vehicles. That’s smart in the sense that they can get their foot in the door without having to establish a dealer…

The valuation makes no sense at all (to me). Tesla is worth more on hopes and dreams...GM and Ford are already immensely succesful companies that make a large number of vehicles. The sales, profit, assets, etc actually exist. Tesla being worth more based on people hoping it will increase dramatically to pipe dream…
