Actually there have been 2 aspens. The Dodge aspen was a “compact” car made from 1975-1980 based on the dodge dart and plymouth volare platform.

I actually got a great deal on the car through haggling. When you take the monthly payment and multiply it out by the total amount of payments, you get back to $24360 which is pretty close to the original MSRP of the car after taxes (without any of the discounts I had or negotiating).

I’ll freely admit that I know nothing about other people’s experiences in lending. If I had actually intended on taking the full loan amount of time to pay off the car, I would have borrowed from my credit union instead.

I completely agree. There is so much development going on, even for economy cars (insert reference about 300 hp camry). Cars are so much faster, efficient, and eco friendlier than they were even 10 years ago.

“Base” r8? Just curious. It gets weird when you use price point as the firm comparison point. The Corvette is priced closely with the Cayman but if you wanted to compare the R8 to the other cars, you have to look at much higher trim levels.
