Oh yeah. My dad has a 110 mile round trip commute (life of a gov contractor). His volt is all electric going to work and part of the way back (mostly down hill on the way there). He is a 6'2" guy with a bit of a gut and fits comfortably. There is no rear middle seat, so 4 is your maximum occupancy, but with the

Alternatively, gaze upon the rarity that is the Pontiac Solstice COUPE. COUPE! 1266 made in total. These things are RARE. Made juuuuuuuuuuust before GM filed for bankruptcy, these things are probably the coolest things from that era of GM.

Get yourself a 10th gen thunderbird (1989-1996). Let’s look at the features:

“only muscle car we have left”

Step 1: Outfit the car with a hard plastic interior, thick vinyl seats and temporary airbag shields to keep them dry. No need for an instrument cluster and any screen could be a well protected touchscreen similar to the ones used on the coke every flavor things.

The court also demanded that GM provides 9725 cars for Kansao but that he only has to pay for them after they are sold. The article also talked about how no reparations have been made for the 158 vehicles GM lost when the plant was siezed.

Mine was black, 2002. I miss that car dearly.

Didn’t that come with the “best” version of the Northstar V8?

Electric cars might be the future but I doubt it will be done with lithium batteries alone. Hybrids are a lot better than they used to be and even hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are demonstrating practicality. There was that hydrogen powered semi-truck and the hydrogen powered chevy colorado!

Just like the Carver!

TBH, $30K is still more money than I’m able to spend on a car right now, electric or not. I got my Cruze sedan for $17.5K after taxes (thanks to some healthy dealer competition and GM family discount) and it is exactly as much car as I need right now. I don’t think I could justify spending around twice that amount

Groan! These kinds of puns are a dime a dozen!

I can’t remember where I saw it, but I heard of a guy with a diesel cruze who got 70 mpg (US). That’s really impressive for any car.

Isn’t that the car from the free credit report song commercial? (in hatchback form)

What if you didn’t need car insurance to rent an autonomous car?

Looks almost like a panel truck version of a Delorean. I really dig the split side window thing going on in these cars

Love the 80's - 90's era retro-futurism (digital-punk?)

They did. Kinda. The trucks are hitting the sign, not the historic bridge. The sign is reinforced to protect the bridge. Any damage to the bridge structure would force the rail traffic to halt.
