OOOOOOOOH I looove a clean white car. Something about preserved innocence or cleanliness or maybe just drawing the eye to the body lines but it makes so many of those cars that extra bit better for me.

I was simply making an overly simplified suggestion meant for humor. The US and Canada do share a lot (even electricity!), but they are separated. I can’t think of any political figures that have tried or even mentioned combining the US and Canada since the revolutionary war (but I’m sure they exist). It would likely

True. If a “Southern border wall” is still necessary, it would be MUCH shorter and paid for by Mexico (partially)!

Tempting, but I don’t have any moronic/embarassing family members for the media to pick apart. We’d need help there

Jobs held by Americans would increase! Imports would decrease! GDP Increase! NAFTA would END! Who could possibly argue with that!

If the US were to annex/conquer/buy/somehow contain(obtain?) Mexico and Canada, illegal immigration would decrease significantly!

This is gonna be a highly contentious daily shift

Only if there’s a penny welded to it

But they would only be accepted when trading for obscure VW’s or beetle parts.

This does seem to be a strange response to advice. It’s possible that whatever original reporting body didn’t fully disclose the entire details of the situation or we are just seeing one perspective.

I don’t think that leaving NAFTA is a good idea but I want to argue with someone so I’m gonna try to play devil’s advocate.

The only sticking point he may have is that certain aspects of electrical engineering do require professional licensing to perform work. Power electronics (10,000 volt high tension lines and transformers) do require licensing as does all infrastructure work. That is where the governing body may have decided it had the

I graduated with an electrical engineering degree but I am not licensed. I don’t do power engineering. I do not work on 10,000 Volt high tension lines or anything related to infrastructure. I do software. Light timing is done with software.

The term “engineer” does get applied to certain occupations and degrees that don’t deserve it, but “electrical engineer” most certainly does. You only need a license for electrical engineering if you are working on power lines or other infrastructure tasks.

Yeah that’s true. I suppose it varies by use and region. Cleanest transportation I ever used was the DC metro. Big part of that is the fact that eating on it is illegal and because it crosses state lines, it’s a felony charge. Fun stuff!

Combine the cleanliness of buses and trains with the comfort people have of air travel!

“How the Air Force can get you high: 13 dirty tips and tricks your recruitment officer doesn’t want you to know!”

And the Duster gets 40+ mpg!

I have mixed feelings about it. Seems like I flip between liking and not liking it every time I see it.
