I guess I have been watching too much sloppy mechanics stuff to get excited over drag cars from the factory. Quarter mile times are impressive but when you have to spend $70k+ to get there... (assuming more $ than regular hellcat)

Bigger cars tend to hold value better (sometimes)
Maybe Great Wall Motor company is making a long term bet at the North American economy as a whole. It takes several years to establish a car factory and establish supply chains and distribution networks. Any change a US administration makes to international trade could be overturned/undone by the next administration…
Fair enough. I’m not going to pretend to be able to give financial advice. Sounds like you got in at a good time. Well done man
This smells a lot like buying in at a peak. All of those investors expect the value of Tesla to continue increasing? I guess the value of something is what someone is willing to pay for it, but then again there’s probably a good reason why I’m not a stock broker/day trader.
It seems to me that the VW’s dieselgate buyback decision (instead of a fix/recall) was the obvious decision. I would bet good money that a lot of the people that bought a TDI are going to return to VW. They are familiar with the brand, cabin layout and quality. They may even have a car dealership they actually like…
You might be able to start in amish-land?
Taurus SHO looks to be a pretty good car
Cadillac has the -V brand and Lexus has -F. Astons are sportier than ever and even Jaguar is re-entering the sports car domain since being sold by Ford.
I believe it’s a hydrogen fuel cell military vehicle co-developed by GM and TARDEC (US Army). Press release said hydrogen fuel cell vehicles from GM could be available by 2020, so who knows?
I need hydrogen to be more available so I can have this:
The white zone is for loading and unloading...
Giving VW the option to scrap or repair every single affected engine seems to be a little short sighted. Even if the repair is cheaper to perform than the buyback, you are creating this new artificial market of consumers that now need new cars. A lot of them may not want to buy a VW as a result but I’d wager that…
VW was given the option to fix (mandatory vehicle recall with repercussions for vehicles that aren’t changed) the vehicles but they chose to instead buy back all affected vehicles and recycle them.

How long until there is an article about the Miata equivalent? This is jalopnik after all...

That rendering of the C7 GXE has the round taillights. That means that at some point in the design or publication process, this got in the hands of a seriously anal Corvette purist who hates the C7's non-circular tail lights. On an electric Corvette.
The car itself is 10 years old with basically a facelift. (2006 - present)
