Thank you.

“Do you think other automakers should be more “fairly” valued among tech companies and Tesla, or do you think Tesla’s valuation needs to be cut back down to size to match closer to the other automakers?”

Mate of mine has a Khamsin. One day we should try and hook up a Go-Proion the boot, see if it makes an interesting shot back through that pane of glass.

Yeah, if only the GM designers had gone “Johnny 99" on the fucking GM bean-counters they’d have put out some pretty nice cars these last few decades. They’d probably have made more money too! This monomaniacal focus on the next quarter’s profits is the death of American businesses, cf. Boeing.

The thing with the Fiero was, by the time they finally got it right nobody wanted one anymore.  Yet another classic example of a good idea ruined by poor execution.

These cars, just like most other American cars of the era were utter trash. Poorly built crap that never ran right and did not last long.

I did this for my motorcycle (which, to be honest, was flawless).

If only some company somewhere would make a car that already had an LS in it...

Am I the only one who’s actually more impressed that the Huracan Performante is still in 2nd place? There is no instant electric torque magic happening there like with the 918 or the Taycan... Bravo Lamborghini.

Oh come on, when you bring facts in here it makes it hard for people to talk out of their ass and sounds like an authority

This car only requires 5W30 regular grade oil, so it’s not a huge deal to put appropriate oil in it.

911 Yes. Mustang, no. Too big and ponderous. I would not consider any of the pony cars to be sports cars. Sporty, definitely. The 911 gets in because it’s light and compact. the rear seat is almost useless.

Well you know what they say - ‘you go first and lead by example

My grandpa was the original owner of this 67, my dad is the third/current owner and just finished the full restoration. If I behave for the next few decades, I might be the fourth owner someday...

Eww. A little more specificity than I was looking for, honestly.

I get the frustration but all of the cars are only there because BOP exists in the first place. The old days are gone.

I wasn’t old enough to drive, but, the whole energy crisis/oil embargo in ‘73 was a massive pain in the ass for everyone and honestly scary AF for kids. I remember seeing my parents genuinely worried for the first time ever.

Bag phones were the best in their day. Super good range.

We still have quasi gas shortages. I was in Alabama when a hurricane went through the Gulf and the rumor of reduced gas availability started. I had planned to get gas on the way home anyway, but had to get it at lunch since by noon, almost all the gas stations were out of gas. It was this weird panic thing that made

Raise your hand if you remember the Spanish flu.
