    Driving it for the first time is going to be the most glorious experience.

    My brother's Jeep Cherokee. He would take me out the country and let me drive it around. I learned to appreciate a steel bumper when I could barely see over the steering wheel.

    I am sure they will use the opportunity to collect data from the 500 people. but it still feels like a PR stunt if they don't bring these to market. I am curious to know how much it weighs and how that weight is distributed.

    You can't have a front-engined car look like your ass-engined cars. It just doesn't make sense. Make it a wagon or make it a sedan. Don't so some weird mix of the two.

    They have had quite a bit of bad news lately. They really are an American car company.

    @Deartháir: We have a different opinion of what defines a "decent" car.

    So Ford still wins at trucks. I would expect nothing less. If I ever move out of the city I will look to pick up one that has been recently repossessed.
