This “we can’t make the A1 anymore because of the legislation” is just an excuse, the new A1 is not selling well (about 1/3 of it’s sister the Polo and 1/2 of it’s other sister the Fabia and about 1/4 of the Clio which is the best seller on the category), not to mention that the new generation isn’t really premium…
peugeot.com is actually only a single page website containing links to “proper” local Peugeot websites that have proper 404 pages (not all “national” websites have the same 404 page) such as https://www.peugeot.fr/DanTheManwich or https://www.peugeot.com.au/DanTheManwich

He is still competing in WRC2 this year (and has been for the last 3 years) and thus is the reigning champion of the category he is racing in so i would definitely say that he did secure a championship.

While i don’t like the look of this special edition, in real life the A110 looks way more unique and better than a BRZ that has the engine on the other side of the cabin, is 10% heavier and takes 3.2s more for the 0-100kph.
I was expecting a lightning rod joke somewhere.
$75595 is without the VAT which equates to ~62.5k€, not 66k€ and the limited edition Alpine without the VAT would be ~57k€ which is ~69k$.
The price includes a 20% VAT and the non-limited Legende starts about 10k€ less (and the Pure 14K less), even the S starts 3.5k lower.
The original statement doesn’t make any sense as this is an article specifically about the Cargo version of the Ami which is the same as the normal one (and cost the same) but without the second seat.
They are usually based on the same design with many identical parts and produced on the same factories but a 5 speed uses less parts so it cost less to produce and it’s lighter.
Because in Europe most cars have multiple engine choices which might not share the same gearboxes.
I think that the parking sensor are fitted from the base model.
It’s not required in Europe.
