Seems good enough to do a fondue on it, might be quite annoying to clean though.

Yes, it’s an option on the A8 in Japan : https://www.audi.jp/rice/

More importantly, i don’t get what is the point of being able to drive without having your hands on the steering wheel but still having a steering wheel in front of you that you should not bump accidentally (which is for example not very practical if you want to eat something) and while having to keep your eyes open

The DS4 is slightly bigger than a Golf (4cm wider) and about 20cm/7.5" tighter than a Defender, i don’t think a bench seat is a viable option here, not to mention that the Defender is not sold as a comfy car.

On the DS4 it’s actually not purely cosmetical, the hybrid versions will have a battery pack under the central console which will even limit the armrest cubby size which seems huge on the ICE versions (sorry, i didn’t find a photo with the armrest opened) :

Nisssan did better with the same color :

Now playing

Battery packs are usually under the car and are made to be replaceable :

If the manufacturer takes back the old battery to refurbish it, it might also cost way less than 5k.

Some manufacturers have plans for refurbished batteries and 12 years old ICE also have worse mileage than similar new cars.

The worse the bullshit is, the higher the Tesla stock goes.

It’s better to be realistic or even a little bit pessimistic than overpromise.

It’s not the case in free countries.

The current generation Micra is actually the cousin of the previous generation of Clio which is bigger (4m of length).

There are still plenty of cars (and quadricycles) under 10k€ in Europe, even EVs like the Renault Twizy and the Citroën Ami.

It’s fitted with a high-flow cat.
