Ugh I hadn’t heard that. I remember some show on Animal Planet I think highligbting Katrina animal rescue teams and you’d see pups standing on fences and on roofs. Tied up, they just have no chance.

People before pets but I’m guessing a lot of 4 legged Texans are going to perish. Hopefully people were able to take them when tbey evacuated (I know after Katrina they changed the rules after people refused to leave their dogs and cats). All that devastation, people will need comfort.

Don’t do everything together, have some space for yourselves. I’m 11 years in shacking up and it’s wonderful but carve out separate experiences. It gives you new things to talk about and also balances out your lives as a couple.
