If you don’t mind me asking, why did you think meds might help at 40? I keep getting “you’ve managed this long, why medication?” I don’t really think that I have managed great and I am weary.

This is helpful. Thank you. Without boring you with my story, I think it’s worth trying the meds. Most of my anxiety comes from issues the head shrinker says could be ADD related. I’m too old for it to have been addressed in school.
