Yep - agreed. Another issue was the rise of the internet which gave folks direct access to every wacky clip or barely remembered commercial, show or movie from our collective past. I just re-read this article and I’m deeply affected by how well it is written but I have one question: why are you voting for her?

Until this moment - I’d forgotten colourized movies entirely.

For those of us out here heartbroken by Last Jedi being terrible, the pain has not lessened. I’m cool with all the folks who like TLJ, but on the flipside (I think) us TLJ haters are seen as reprobates - which further intensifies the pain and frustration.

AV Club refuses to acknowledge that Last Jedi (sucking) is the cause of all this drama.

I love SNL but I agree with Chevy. I’m the same age as the show (born in 1975) and, as I’ve aged, I’ve come to realize that SNL is dumb, broad and obvious - but still at times hilarious. SNL is important certainly, but not the high bar of critical comedy.

I know we all ‘know’ how great Cage is but sometimes I forget the sheer volume of his amazing, memorable, movies.

I hope you’re proud of yourself.
