If Trump fired Comey purely because of his performance then no one would have an issue. But Comey’s firing comes up as the Trump/Russia investigation is heating up.

Right, had he been fired back in December when Rosie said that, it would have been the right move. Had Trump fired him when he first took office, it at least would have been acceptable. But now, in the middle of the Russia thing, is not the right time to do it.

I don’t see the disconnect between saying he should have been fired for a real thing, and being upset that he was later fired on an obviously dishonest pretense by someone trying to interrupt an investigation into themselves.
