Can someone near and dear to The Rock please explain the last thing we need is a Big Trouble in Little China remake. Seriously, don’t go near it.

How many times do we need to learn this lesson, John Carpenter movies do not make good remakes. The Fog remake? Awful. The Thing prequel? Blah. Are we seriously going to try

Ugh seriously. It was/still is a fantastic film that does not need a remake. How can you improve on Kurt Russell?

The best part about BTILC is that it was all about inclusion and the melting pot that is America. It did all of that without trying and any version of that today will just be bashing us over the head with

That’s gotta be a tough job but you are right it’s something that needs to be done.

My point wasn’t really about whether the death sentence is an appropriate punishment. I think it just has to affect who you are on a very deep level to have to put a human to death more than once. I’m not saying that as a reason

What I can’t imagine is being the person who actually does flip the switch or press the button for the injection.

I think even if I knew what a horrible person I was killing I would hesitate. I don’t think I could do it. Now if they did something to me personally that’s a different story but I still feel like that

My head is still reeling over the fact they were married at all. Just....what? Johnny, really?

Oh god that one got me. Bravo

That is an amazing scowl. And I agree with you wholeheartedly. To be fair though where Rihanna is concerned I’m a bit like the overprotective mom who thinks no one is good enough.

They did? Leo was in that?

Best.Narration.Of.Snakes.Ever.

I would only accept it if he a) throws himself at her feet and b) is 100% upfront about how crazy lucky/unworthy he is.

Then OK sure why not, dating Leo could have some fun times I guess (vomit).

Omg I need that first poster.

And now I need to go home and watch The Thing for the millionth time.

Raw chicken can be delicious! Just, you know, don’t eat it in the U.S.

And Mario’s food....isn’t that just bonito flakes blowin’ in the wind? That’s what he was getting at right?

The funny thing is when you wrote it up there as Gif I automatically pronounced it with a soft g. But when I saw it down thread either as gif or GIF my brain went straight to a hard g.

Part of my love for the direwolves comes from the books but another big part is because they are like the last tie to a happy childhood that any of the Stark kids have. They found them with their dad and he sort of gifted the wolves to them. Throughout all the awful shit if we still had a few direwolves left it felt

Yeah as soon as he did that you knew he wasn’t as sorry as he should have been.

Or at least, he might be sorry that Sansa suffered but Littlefinger is the type of character that can’t stand not being in control. So even if he is remorseful for what happened with Sansa he still expects/wants her to be under his thumb

I’m hoping while they’re out looking for loyal houses they have some reason to get in a fight and Tormund just watches Brienne kick ass in complete and total awe.

Yeah same, I mostly wrote that cause there is an unfairness to it but whoever wrote that was obviously not thinking of anyone else but themselves. Also ugh I just really, really cannot stand the idol system. I get why it might be appealing to be an idol but it preys so much on young adults who just want to get famous

“On Wednesdays, Mama Jo liked to take her afternoon constitutional out on the golf course. Even if she did cause quite the commotion.”

It’s definitely not the pop star’s fault or the fault of any of the women who are idols in Japan. But there is a major flaw in the pop star system that absolutely does feed off these lonely and somewhat unhinged men. I’m not saying they are victims but it is a vicious cycle.

The companies know they have to give off

What cracks me up about this dessert trend is that blocks of this stuff are sold in Japanese drug stores for 70 cents a package. I mean if you are gonna fool me into eating something artisanal at least make it something worth a dollar.
