Yeah I really like the second one, possibly the best out of the three. It’s so sad we have to have these conversations. She just did another book set in the future that’s not as good as the MaddAddam trilogy but it does have a lot of interesting ideas and it’s a little bit lighter in tone, ‘The Heart Goes Last’.…

Its so good! It’s terrifying though how close to our reality it is, like I could definitely some of that happening down the road.

It reminds me a lot of The MaddAddam trilogy by Margaret Atwood. There are a lot of constant references to extinct animals and one of the groups in the book have a prayer where they name each of the animals that are no longer around. It’s set in the future so you can imagine how depressingly long that list is.

Yeah just looking at those photos gave me anxiety about how the hell I would fill it up with ‘stuff’. And not anything I needed either just ‘stuff’.

Yeah I do not get it at all. I’ve also seen those really bright LED (?) lights that are illegal in the states to put on your car, basically covering every square inch inside.
