Agreed. It took me two efforts to finish Trainwreck - it has it’s moments but I don’t get why everyone keeps saying it transcends the romcom formula.

I had the opposite reaction to these films. I was surprised with how much I liked Spy, there wasn’t really a moment I wasn’t cracking up. But I think I also appreciate Melissa McCarthy’s humor a lot more than Amy Schumer’s.
