A 10 year old assembled the iphone in Taiwan, why shouldn't a 10 year old be able to fix one?

@theamazingpete: Until man is faultless, don't expect anything he creates to be faultless.

It's a very good OS. When I got the first beta, my mission was to break it. I installed Photoshop cs4, tons of utilities, a bunch of games, several suites of office, firewalls and anti virus apps and none of that shook Windows 7 beta.

@pmbaustin: You develop? Cool. What KB are you and your friends referencing with this trouble?

@nunyafishness: You could have and you should have jumped on it when it dropped. Family pack was 149 for 3 computers and if you were a student, 29 bucks.

@pmbaustin: No offense but it almost sounds as if you are either running torrent software or making stuff up.

I'm with you okenny. Coverflow was never anything more than a cute presentation but it's always been far from anything functional.

It's too early to be overly concerned with HTML5 and my browser at this stage. If and when browser makers feel ready to implement it, they will and all I'll need to do is update. It's not like I need to "save up" to buy it or purchase new hardware to run it.

Apple will continue to lose ground to Android this year and into the next. My next phone will not be from Apple.

The only thing that could interest me about any new iteration of Firefox is that they fix it's obsession with memory consumption. Beyond that, it's the same ol browser since Firefox 2.0. Moreover, Chromium is getting it done for me.

Excellent article.

@phinn: what do you mean by no bookmarks like firefox? In Chrome, you click the wrench and check "Always show bookmarks bar" But you must be talking about some other kind of bookmark.

Good find Ms Ho. I'll get some use from this.

When will they decide to work on memory management? This thing is still a memory hog.

@Ph0Xy: I think we did. Even clicking install gives you the code so you could do it yourself. lol

@ckcallen: absolutely nothing to do with the price of tea in China.

@strich: You should have read the documents, realized you would be in over your head and not download it. Clearly no has explained "beta tester" to you in layman's terms.

That ice thing would work unless the ice tastes bad. This happened to me at a restaurant in Elko, Nevada. They put the obligatory glass of ice water down and I took a sip. Yuck. Could not drink it.

1Password for Windows? Its about time but they need to get Chrome support in place. I seem to be spending more time in it than memory hog Firefox 3.6.3. But this is good news.

Cool beans.
