Yes! I think the way the story lines develop through small moments and gradually come together over time is one of the best parts of the show. It creates a great balance to the over-the-top styling and magical realism.

Okay, I read it as implying there was a connection between the depiction and the viewer's response. It seemed that the quote was saying that the reaction of the characters made the scene less heartbreaking to the viewer. I was trying to imagine how they could have reacted differently. I realize the reviewer did not
