No, you’re right, I’m an idiot. But hey, bonus points for trolling me about Arrow, of all things.

Does ballet confuse you, too?

It’s mostly just me. I am exceedingly shallow and dumb. It’s the XX chromosomes, I expect.

Yessss Allison this is the analysis RPDR needs - people need to stop sleeping on drag as performance art. Sasha Velour has more creativity in her little finger than most people do in their entire bodies

She’s not a musician, so you’re making the wrong comparison.

I expect Allison has seen plenty of live, actual musicians.  So have I, and very few put on a performance as good as this--and that includes Butthole Surfers.  So we’re talking best of the best.

This performance still gives me chills. The timing, the theatricality, and the precision of her lipsync were on point.

There is so much debate and derision in the community over Sasha’s win but it’s hard to fault her given her performances in the final episode. I’d even say her winning number was better than this one because it relied less on the gimmick of rose petals (which, granted, is a fantastic gimmick) and really focused on the

Those shots of the young Phillip walking through the streets lined with Nazis were absolutely chilling.

“nothing previously demonstrated that Elizabeth would in any way conduct herself like that towards her son”

“There are objectively far sadder things in this episode, but the final title card about Charles sending his own sons to Eton really, really broke my heart.”

Nah it’s still prestige TV. Public perception is very much that. Just because few people who think it’s cool to hate popular things on the internet doesn’t make GoT any less prestige. Season 7 is still very good. Not as good as the earlier seasons but still better than most stuff out there. Even if you bar the

Okay then what about Olenna’s final scene? Or the Tyrion/Cersei scene? Those scenes rank higher than a lot of stuff mentioned on this list.

That scene was so riveting and came from out of fucking nowhere. Jaime coming that close to getting lit the hell up by dragon flames was so great.

Yea, I agree GOT maybe wasn’t in top form this year, but not finding that scene (or any scene from this season) good enough for this list or better than a scene from Friends From College or The Defenders reeks of wanting to stand out by leaving out the most popular show on T.V.

This is The Bad Place!” is what my new tramp stamp says.

Yeh, how the hell is Game of Thrones not on this list? Dothraki warriors standing up in their saddles was pretty spectacular. But even some of the quieter moments deserve mention, like the Hound burying the father and daughter he left for dead way back in season 4.

There are definitely a lot of great scenes on this list, but probably my standout favorite from the year was a dragon and a Dothraki horde destroying an army of Lannister soldiers.

Do you like TV? Do you like horses? Do you like Wii U? Do you like movies? You don’t own the beach. I don’t know how to do that.
