Revolution has a massive lead-in, against weak competition. This starts off the night, and is a male-targeted show at the same time as BBT and 2 and a half Men. Once did well for sure and still is.

This "reading" gimmick doesn't have Terry Oquinn and Vanessa Williams.

She seemed like she could hold a note/not be entirely unpleasant in her own language. Brit's seem to lose their accent when singing, but she's a little past that I think.

Heeey Annie Barret at EW has great write ups for this show, and constantly mocks it. Actually, their TV coverage in general is pretty good, while dodging fifteen articles about Katniss and Twilight.

Glad this got an A. Fucking loved it, and had that "what the fuck did that just happen?!" quality the shows been missing recently.

I'm getting more and more ashamed of watching this show, and but I do really want to see what this magical "boot camp" entails.

I wish this thing had a cosy timeslot. Last season I decided not to get invested in any new network shows, in case they got cancelled. Dammit, I can't help myself this year.

That's great that you do that, but it's not unnatural for people to relate the two in their minds when watching. The fact that it's the most awarded comedy right now obviously has an effect on the general perception of the show. It's not that people think it's important, just that most will be expecting more from it

Too bad a shitload of people think the exact way she describes when opening the review. It's impossible not to associate this show with the emmys any more, unless you're really good at forgetting things.

The first eight or so eps of season three was such a fucking perfect run. I was blown away every week, and The Plateau is incredible. I think Peter will always be my favorite episode, though.  With that, it became something timeless.

He did a pretty good job with it too. I knew it was someone else so I could tell, but if you weren't looking for it you'd be sold.
