Announcing something good, but warning you before you take some kind of unrecoverable action is much better. Not everyone who uses an iPhone keeps up with all the iPhone announcements.
Oooooh! Hahahahah!
Well, maybe you're right. To my GF it was important though. And that's what matters to me. The point is, WHY does Apple insist on doing something fairly HUGE to MY phone without at least giving me some amount of warning first???!!! Is it that much to ask?
Oooooh. hahaha
I don't understand your picture...
I think the YouTube fiasco is actually a bigger deal in a lot of ways. I told my girlfriend to update last night, thinking she would like some of the new features. Who uses condoms anymore? lol
Seriously? Instant gratification is the standard at this point in time! It is 2012 after all. If you can't keep up with your willing customers' demands then you don't belong in the business!
Thank you for writing this! I seriously hope that the "content providers" read this and wake the fuck up.
Why not just have one REAL button on each side of the phone that you can push in order to activate that side's touch screen? This seems like an easy, obvious solution to the problem of "always touching" both sides of the phone.
Seriously. And the previous iteration was pretty bad itself, but at least made sense. This new thing is awful. I wish they'd leave it alone for awhile...
