Agreed. Yeah, they really turned it around after the first season, which wasn’t terrible but wasn’t that good. Those last three seasons are some of the best in all of TV. That Gordon episode in season four...

The first season of The Terror was great. And Halt and Catch Fire is one of my all time fave shows, so I’m super interested in this third season.

We’ve been fighting this war for nothing.

I see what you did there...?

Just gonna post the same comment I made at Pajiba about this:

And also, it does not matter how much it would cost the state. If state legislature passes a law and people in the state challenge it in court, then that’s absolutely their right. A state can’t pass a law, and then, when someone says, “hey, I don’t like that law, I’m going to throw a shitload of cash at fighting it,”

Suddenly in France with... Mélanie Laurent.

Let’s see if that fucker can ride a bike... lmao

I think too many people went into The Vast of Night through their own expectations but probably also the trailer so didn’t really give it a fair shake. For what it is and wants to accomplish, I thought it worked REALLY well. I hope it gets more due at some point.

We wouldn’t get dressed up but our go-to “fancy” restaurants for me and my parents were Hungry Hunter (which had awesome decor partly because it was anachronistic for the small, beachside town I grew up in) and Marie Callendar’s, which my Japanese mom LOVED (especially for their banana cream pies). Man, I miss those

Yeah, GoT absolutely went off the rails after they surpassed the books. It still pisses me off because they could’ve just left the show in the hands of a new showrunner if they were sick of doing it. Sure they wouldn’t have gotten the credit for the bookless seasons if they were good but their adaptation of the

Anybody who was watching could tell they weren’t invested and didn’t want to do it.”

The first book is a bit dry but, to me, it gets much better as you progress through it. And the other two books in the trilogy are much more interesting and enjoyable.
