The moment Agent Sharp and Sara had their interaction, the timer for their hookup started in my head to the degree that I’m almost wishing that they either swerve us or give Sharpe a lot more character than the concept she currently is.
I doubt they’ll kill Stein but they did just announce that Victor Garber is leaving the show this season (to accomodate his desire to go back to Broadway), so I dunno. Probably they will find some other way to rejigger things so that Jax can be Firestorm by himself. (Maybe Stein can die for like 10 seconds, severing…
Nate was just all around a great addition to the team.
I actually enjoy how the show works around the low budget & establishes different periods or locations mostly by having the cast dress in clothes appropriate for that time and/or place. Especially because they always pull the looks off hilariously as well as hotly.
There are a lot of reasons why Caity Lotz as Sara is my #1 favorite all-time live-action female superhero, but how great she is in the action/ fight scenes is probably top of the list. She is so graceful and yet vicious kicking Julius Caesar’s ass. He was right, there was no limit to what he could have accomplished…
Matt Ryan as the famously bi Constantine is going to join this show for a multi-episode arc this season, it was just announced. Very curious to see what he and Sara—who he resurrected—get up to.
I really like Arthur Darvill—he was so good & menacing as Evil Rip last season, an underrated contender for best ArrowVerse villain—I am glad they have figured out, it seems, a better way to use him, rather than just being the one member of the team that is no fun.
Glad they mentioned a male conquest for Sara.
I was okay with The Flash and how it’s trying to be optimistic again.
I’m also glad the show remembered that Sara is bisexual! Her casually mentioning that she had a male time agent over for a one-and-done was pretty funny. Her constantly getting with the ladies alone was beginning to feel a bit like they were erasing her orientation.
If you’d have told me at the end of Season 1 of LoT that by Season 3 it would be the most consistently entertaining of the CW’s shows, I would have laughed you out the door. But here we are.
Rip Hunter: Time Asshole may be my favorite version of the character. I’m glad they are leaning into that.
This Rip is the wooooooorst Rip, but frankly I’ve never liked his sympathetic incarnations and this Rip is promising as an antagonistic presence
Mick+Sara bros forever
Also, Mick complaining to Ceaser about not liking his salad...while eating a salad.
My favorite thing in this episode: Mick casually calling Sara “boss” and all of the team members basically accepting her leadership.
“Sometimes we screw things up for the better” is such a great motto for the show.
Everyone who said they’d have everything fixed in the first two minutes of the premier, report to internet headquarters to collect your no-prize.
