It's very satisfying to watch an episode of an action-focused comic book show driven entirely by women. Even Aida and May (even if they aren't technically female) played major parts.

Iain De Caestecker switching from emotional Fitz to blank LMD in the blink of an eye was fantastic. Very Westworld-ian.
With a name like that, she's bound to be a horror queen
Also, that everyone in Maia's line was white.
It's telling that they showed all the applicants and that they were all black. Boseman even asked her if she's afraid hiring Diane would change the office culture. Definitely a plot point.
Went on vacay in Mandyville.
I loved that quick cut to Abernathy! A+ editing.
Re: The Good Callback
I agree they need to table Alicia for a bit, but they have to acknowledge where she is eventually. Same goes for Cary and Eli.
I really like Lucca in the mentoring role. Gives her so much to play with.
Hello, fellow Braindead fan! Glad to know I wasn't the only one who watched. It had its moments (the whole cast was great), but it was just tonally all over the place. I miss having Aaron Tveit and Mary Elizabeth Winstead flirting on TV.
Not really, but TGW is really good. It's worth the time investment.
Marissa trying to psyche out the other potential assistants before their interviews was totally an Eli Gould™ move. As was her glad handing the mall employees. He's taught her well and would be proud.
Fuck yeah, Christine Baranski! Always a pleasure to have her back on TV. Her skit and interview with Stephen Colbert was delightful.
Delroy Lindo's reaction to her accent sold that entire bit for me.
It was such a dad joke too.
He seemed extra douche-y this episode. His "I've been where you are right now" speech at Judges Table felt so condescending.
I've always had a soft spot for Mary Sue and Susan because I grew up watching Two Hot Tamales and really liking their chemistry on TV.
Drooling right now. That sounds so good.
Well, at least the orange man-child didn't win the popular vote and doesn't have an 80% approval rating.
