I really like David Harbour but his asshole Banshee character is still on my mind so I instinctively hated him. Took me a few minutes to adjust to him being one of the good guys.

The dinner table scenes were so intense it felt like a friggin Mexican stand-off. Really well done.

I'm really impressed at how much of a dick Jesse has become. I have a feeling there will be a reckoning for Jesse's actions by the end of this season, and the next season will be about his redemption.

I'm not a very fashion-y gay man, but her whole outfit made me want to do one of those z-snaps.

I think third seasons are a sweet spot for shows in that the writers have gelled, characters have been established and the show is young enough so that stories still feel fresh and story "tricks" can still be pulled off. Also, this point is when the audience has been fully invested in the characters and stories.

I thought Torv was the weakest link acting-wise. Boy was I so incredibly wrong. Olivia/Bell was so much fun to watch.

Not just panel shows, talk shows too! The Monuments Men episode of Graham Norton is probably the most fun hour of a talk show ever.

It stings because the commentariat community on AVC is one of the biggest draws to the site and losing that weekly dialogue sucks. God knows, I'd rather talk shit about shows here than on io9 or Reddit *shudders*.

That broke my heart a little bit. Also, the look on Jared's face as Richard leaves for the VC meeting. Zach Woods is basically an innocent lil puppy.

It was a really well done misdirect. The set-up with Bronn and Jamie and the server/Arya had me expecting something totally different.

ARYA FUCKIN STARK MOTHERFUCKER!

Now that I think back on it, there's a direct through line from my love of Beakman's World to Good Eats. The tone and presentation of the two shows are pretty much the same.

DORIS!!!!!!!! ALL THE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!

RIP George Miller's Justice League. He would've knocked it out of the park.

Then I should dance more often.

She's already got a big Tim Burton movie lined up so she's probably gonna be okay.

Lily's scene in the finale might have topped that one for me.

Loved the fact that despite whatever shit was going down in the friggin apocalypse, she still managed to maintain patient-doctor privilege.

Patti Lupone should do more action. Suits her well.

Add that to the incredibly long list of gorgeous shots this show graciously gives us.
