This gave me horrible Matrix-y vibes.

On Kevin Smith's podcast, he talks about how Jay Mewes is such a huge fan of the Arrow-verse that Jay thinks this is the best role Kevin has ever given him. Even better than the "Jay" character that gave him his career.

Isn't Cary Fukunaga doing an adaptation?

I was spoiled, but still pretty damn thrilled. Lego released pictures of their upcoming Civil War playsets and Giant Man was one of the minifigs featured.

Yes please. I'd ship it so hard.

They basically said Star City was a Hellmouth this episode.

Fortuna was great. It's the campiness that works for her (same with McDunough's Darhk).

Lovable idiot is his forte.

Yep, I liked having Layla back into kickass boss mode.

That "don't-fuck-with-me!" look he gave after the helicopter tried to shoot at him was impressive considering he had no facial expressions and it was all body language.

Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter is one of the best casting choices they have ever done. Hell, they should have a Peggy Carter movie.

Isn't Slade directing for the American Gods show on Starz?

I'm not sure if it's true of if Chris Evans was just joking but apparently he campaigned to have Steve somehow be shirtless during that scene. God bless him.

Anyone else hoping to catch a glimpse of an older Souza (maybe as Peggy's widow)? And how exactly is Sharon her niece since the show established her older brother died during the war and no other siblings were ever shown?

1. No Asian queen has won before

I guess I'm in the minority here but #TeamNaomi all the way.

Right. See, S7 was so unmemorable everything's a bit hazy to me.

This season has been a major improvement. The casting really helped.

Re: Chi Chi vs Naomi - Naomi also has a more distinct style. Chi Chi's drag is beautiful and glamarous but a bit generic.

And Katya!
