Just started on Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey and I'm unsure if I want to continue reading because The Expanse has been fantastic and I don't know if I want to spoil myself on what happens next. Apparently, there are some novellas set in the universe pre-Expanse so maybe I'll check those out instead.

I wouldn't mind an acting challenge if all the queens had to take on the same role. Then there would be a better way to gauge their performances and their talents and personalities would have a chance to sign.

HA! I just saw an episode of Willam's Beatdown where she takes on a video of a Willam make-up tutorial. After the "transformation" she reads the model for looking like Derrick Barry instead of her.

I think the disappointment of having Naysha come back kinda soured me on this episode.

Racist or not, the writing on the challenge was horrible. Bob's ad libs made it funny.

I wish Robbie had more space for her LSFYL. I think she did well, but you could see how much effort she had to rein it in just so she could stay on stage.

I like Michelle but that read was spot on!

Yeah, but she's underwhelming as a judge. Tasha Smith was so much better. She should have been with Ru during the acting challenge.

From what I've seen, Derrick is screwed. He doesn't have Chad's ability to not only nail the impersonation but also make it funny.

I'll take Cucu over Naysha and Derrick every day. Such a disappointing episode.

I wouldn't say the artiness "hurt" the show, it defined it.

*International* release. The show was a big hit outside the US but not as easily accessible (licensing rights etc.).

When they showed the judges' build-up to "I Will Survive" I knew it was either going to be either spectacular or a total hot mess. The longer runtime is really working out well for these new episodes. Is every episode going to be longer?

I think this was bearable because none of the girls actually had to sing it.

I know they already did it but, I would love it if Shangela pops out of that box and they have to drag her out of the workroom again.

They have the advantage though of having better material to work with. Everybody knows "good" girl shit is boring AF.

I love Acid Betty's bitchiness but Michelle's on point with her critique about her: she's setting herself up for a big fall.

And Sense8 on Netflix is really good too.

You gotta work for it though. The fact that Katya had TWO shows filmed and ready to drop online after every episode aired speaks to her acumen and work ethic.
