Initially, I was a bit underwhelmed with that scene. The creepy dolls are so cliche. The baby looked totally fake. The heart looked like it had rubber tubing coming out of it. But as the scene went on it just started to work. The dolls got truly creepy. The sound of the scalpel going into the flesh and Poole stitching…
