Yeah, seems the threat of closing loomed overhead for sometime at the bowl. When Bemer purchased 2 years ago the pronounced he was gonna be the man to save the bowl. Now looks like he may have doomed it.

The locals have been trying to get the New London-Waterford Speedbowl shut down for years and though the track has also suffered financially for year some time they always managed to open the gates every year. Since the owners assets are to be frozen, racing organizations are dropping out and management is jumping…
I think it’s worth the gamble so NP. I likely would replace the entire engine, I don’t think it’s worth replacing a head gasket at 218K.
Is it me or is this actually a 350 Z in concept form.
UGH! Probably also had a 3sp auto and hub caps.
Ok, maybe not a flying brick. But I would recheck those numbers. Regardless of NP or CP, should have plenty of get up and go.
Always do. The L98 was more about low end torque then high HP.
My guess is a donor car. If the used the rear end as well probably cheaper then purchasing the 5.3 with everything else they would need to make the set up work.
The chevy L98 came with 245hp, not bad for it’s day but the engine was better known for it’s 330-345 ft/lbs of torque. The Edelbrock cylinder heads would make a decent improvement on those numbers. Sure it’s no LS but will have no problem propelling this car to flying brick standards.
Wrong!
If we are putting guns on these things I’m showing up in a Delorean. What’s more badass then rockets and machine guns mounted on the open gullwing doors.
We should round them up and force them to purchase the vehicle. They will each have 1 week to use the vehicle as their daily driver. Too police hooning it too much they will be forced to properly maintain and repair vehicle while they have it.
Just downright terrible. CP at $5,000!
More likely just not sober.
I have no problem with a clone/vintage classic muscle car. Nova is one of my favorite muscle cars and 72 was the last good looking year IMHO. Color and drivetrain clicks off all the right boxes for me. Would probably switch to buckets seats so I can get past that issue. I would prefer a hard top, but this post car…
Dryer hose ram air intake!
I’m with you. If I bring a car to a show I want mine to be the only example there. No shame in that. Shotgun!
No brainer NP here. Even if getting it running properly turned into an expensive undertaking I bet I would be a rewarding journey.
An active CEL on a heavily modded car sets off all my warning indicators.
This car would need to be perfect to switch my vote to NP. But Damn I miss the 2 door Impreza.
