Not only that, but in the scene when Elizabeth tells Philip that they're actually trying to improve the global food supply in the kitchen entrance, Philip's side of the frame has an American flag.

Peking Duck. Which, yeah, is essentially duck fajitas. Crispy as hell and delicious.

Yeah, but there was also one additional category.

To be fair, Oleg is taller than everybody on the show. He even has a full head over Arkady. Costa Ronin probably could have played ball in another life.

Chile is the richest country in South America, with its economic foundations established under the Pinochet regime. Considering all the rest of the stuff that's happened in South America, killing a few thousand political dissidents wasn't exactly an unspeakable bargain.

One of the most instructive things I've ever read goes something like "imagine somebody's watching you 24/7. Would they think you're a good person?" On TV, you only get to watch 40 minutes per week, and it's spread out between various characters.

I remember that exact scene. I thought it was one of the most incredible acting performances I'd ever seen.

Both actually have pretty good explanations, though. She texted him that she had an emergency, without specifying as to the nature of said "emergency". So he rode in with his friend to save the day, because he's just a good guy like that.

Compasses didn't really exist 1500 years ago.

Is it really a parody, though? I thought that at first but between this, Louie, and High Maintenance, the fact that so many of the New Yorkers depicted on television seem to be self-absorbed, you're-not-as-smart-as-you-think-you-are caricatures that I'm thinking it's less of a parody and more of a depiction of an all

I'm not too sure about that. Superficially it does seem like that might be the case, but it seems more like Allison Williams is a self aware version of the oblivious, narcissistic, insecure Marnie. Self awareness goes a long way in people like that.

I don't see why the blackmail plot is so incomprehensible. Yes, if you plead out, charges might be lessened or dropped altogether, but your future in the US Attorneys' office is done.

The musical definitely gives Jefferson his motivation for opposing Hamilton (our poorest citizens, our farmers live ration to ration / while Wall Street robs them blind in search of chips to cash in) but in the history books, Jefferson and Madison were wrong and Hamilton was right.

Jefferson's only significant accomplishment in office, the Louisiana Purchase, was only made possible because Hamilton had established the nation's creditworthiness during the Washington Administration. The loan to buy Louisiana was underwritten by Barings Bank.

Really? Watching John Adams just made me hate John Adams. Dude was a petulant little bitch. It's incredible to me that this man was New England's favorite son. Reading about him in Hamilton's biography (read after I watched the series) just confirmed to me that he was a blustery, arrogant, obnoxious person who peaked

Chicken soup is just hot, melted, fat-water!

It depends on the vest he's wearing. If that rifle was chambered in .308, level 3 armor (hard ceramic plates) can stop a 7.62x51mm round.

It's a show about guys who are/were in the NFL. It'd be unrealistic to expect women who weren't gold diggers. Besides, the guy who got a job at a car dealership actually has a solid wife, it appears.
