Okay... So Satan Jr. based Kathy Bot after Constance Langdon, but didn’t have her look like her and inserted memories Constance had (of loving the little blonde boy) but also inserted false memories of trick or treating, the Rosemary’s Baby date, and being an agent for Mossad. Right.

Because Constance definitely seemed like an ex-Mossad agent.

Spectacle is something that I enjoy as well, I really do, but even that wears thin. Both you and the other commenter both mention that you loved Asylum and while there was certainly plenty of spectacle in that season (exorcisms, bloody violence, fetishization of Catholicism, dance number, etc.), that season also had

Oh my god! Something happened!

No they were definitely more formless. Looked like the smoke monster from Lost. Definitely not human or even humanoid.

I didn’t watch Pose because I thought, “what can Ryan Murphy do that Paris is Burning (1990) didn’t do better by having actual members of the Ball Community speaking in a documentary as opposed to actors performing a manufactured TV narrative?” But it’s refreshing to hear that the subject matter was well-handled.

To be honest, I wish they’d touch on claustrophobia. 18 months have passed, and aside from being kind of hungry and mind-numbingly bored, none of the characters seem that impacted by their living space. Show someone freaking out, and I mean really SHOW it: dutch angles, close ups, rapid/disjointed edits, do something!

I’m already afraid that’s all that this season is going to come to: pretty people who stand around looking pretty. That’s what Hotel amounted to and this is so far lacking in actual stakes, motivation, or conflict.

MY GOD, I’M ALREADY BORED! I’ve been watching this series since season 1 and I love the potential of a horror anthology with a recurring stable of actors, but the repetition and lack of effort is grating at this point.
