Haha. Yes sir.

Not to wade into the argument, but I had this thought after an unrelated program (Frontline) featured the author of a book called "The Dumbest Generation".

And Eerie, Indiana.

@avclub-41e23e24ee2670c4128cd7e5e5ee42ab:disqus Not saying this is the reason Family Guy's relevance wasn't as great as The Simpsons, but have you ever stopped to wonder whether it's even possible for one television show to be overwhelmingly culturally relevant? The only shows that are watched by enough people are…

@avclub-a281004dce23a29d1821f1e8430b6f8f:disqus I really strongly associate that with New Year's as well. They also do (or, at least, used to do) it on the Fourth of July as well.

Not a flat 4.4, maybe high 4.4's though. But you're right. Very rare speed, and highly unlikely. I also thought having him list his combine numbers was over the top, I highly doubt any pro athlete would actually talk like that in that situation. He wouldn't need to list the reasons he could kick Jeremy's ass, those…

Living in Indiana as I have all my life, I remember thinking it was cool to see them here (or wherever they shot it, but you know what I mean) on the show. I do think it's a bit cliched, but I'll stand up for the Daylight Savings Time thing being a huge problem, and one that wouldn't have been on the President's…

I prefer the drone policy to the "fabricate evidence to mislead the public into supporting a war" foreign policy. Police officers use deadly force on US citizens on US soil. The man you speak of actively trained the so-called underwear bomber, and was actively encouraging more attacks on Americans. None of this…

I saw Nickel Creek on one of their final tours, in 2006. Which was ephemeral in itself, as they played a few different arrangements/versions of their songs and other traditionals, that I haven't found anywhere else.

He was extremely likable on Top Gear. For whatever that's worth.
