Agreed...one of the stores I spent time at had Jaguar, and had one salesman. Crazy knowledgeable, but lived fast and hard, 2 ex-wives, and while the used cars had low mileage, the guy selling them did not.

Mini mid life crisis- you are like the old guy at the dealership who tries to ruin the enthusiasm of any new person because you don’t want them to succeed and make you look bad. My goodness this thread is filled with bitter people who couldn’t make it in sales or resent those who do. Unbelievable.
Shortterm salescritter who moved into F+I (for GM as a floater rather than in a specific dealership) here, and I’d cosign for everything you wrote. I’ll add that there’s an odd culture that grows in most dealerships too:
