I think the clip is especially funny/poignant because we've all been there. It's total hopeful denial; nudging the ball back into play, thinking "oh, this is bad", hoping that no one noticed. THAT is relatable.

barf.
I know this girl. She's my sisters best friend. She's the biggest sweetheart and a great softball player. Go (name redacted)! You may be in hell now, but this will be a funny story some day!
I dislike how many articles I see now (not just on Jez and this isn't meant as a criticism of the author) that are: "man/woman did (something crazy) because of (something trivial). There are always many factors that preempt extreme situations, even when the people involved think they know the cause.
I think you mean the doctor. Sorry I just annoyed myself.
He did not. That makes me want to psksnajsisn! No words.
His take on the political situation is way more offensive than the fact that his analogy is sexist. Not that you can't be offended by both, but his comment did make me see red.
(Touching someone's genitals, that is)
that's assault, brotha
Thanks for the supportive comment. I'm a teacher actually not a parent. Some of my kids are in plans just to work on their eating. They have good parents who have done the right things and knowledgable staff and still struggle. Eating can be a hard thing for some kids, I think people don't really understand that.…
Thanks for that. Some kids are better eaters than others and it isn't just about parenting. It is scary when a kid won't eat, especially when they're not tantruming for their preferred foods, they just go without eating. They have such tiny bodies, watching them eat less and less is terrifying.
stop that!
Jeff Goldblum is my #1 celebrity crush. He is so fucking sexy. God I just wanna... Well, anyway!

Setting strict boundaries lessens their anxiety. There is always a balance. If you want your kid to drink water (nonnegotiable) it's a good idea to offer them…
thin and pointy is my least favorite variety.
my kids did too! As soon as I heard the intro I was prepared to be my usual cynical self, but this very sassy 8th grader belted it out and it was awesome.
You need to go to better parties girl!
It was definitely used as a campaign against poor and minority women. But fetal alcohol syndrome is a real thing and it is devastating for the child. I don't agree with criminalizing the mother, but there needs to be procedures in place to protect the children. I don't know what they can be and also protects the…
