Is anyone else nervous about them reintroducing the bill?

It's been at zero ever since the rest of the country heard about SB101. Now you're on the "consecutive days at zero days without an embarrassing story about your home state" counter.

Seriously. I am embarrassed - and I live in Florida.

That's my point, there's no reason to give anything to a sports reporter, rendering the majority of them pathetic and useless.

This, so much. We are finally in an era where the players are starting to be honest with the press how they feel about them. I am ALL FOR IT. Treat them like human beings and you get some respect back. Whine or act like a douche, and fewer of them mind telling you about it. I'll bet most of them STILL don't realize

To get generic, content-free statements from athletes and coaches of course!

Or when you hear about how someone wasn't getting Hall of Fame consideration because they were kind of quiet or they shunned the media...IT'S NOT THE HALL OF DID YOU LIKE THEM!

To ensure that our great nation never runs out of irony.

Amen. When I was a news reporter the only perk was when a murder occurred next to a Burger King so you could easily get something to eat afterwards (a murder IN a Burger King was gold, Jerry, gold!). I moved over to sports and saw the equivalent of manatees gorging themselves on free pre-game meals, free post-game

"I'm just here so I don't get fined."

I'm sort of indifferent about Rodgers from a fan perspective, but I agree with his choice not to do an interview. He was essentially on a "date," (or a BFF hangout night) and his presence had nothing to do with Wisconsin gangling its way into the Final Four. Would this doofus reporter have expected an interview if

hoo boy do I love taking the trust of my friends and loved ones and turning it on them to make them look like assholes. Haha, what sporting fun! What a merry prankster I am! See how heartily I gaffaw and all my victims nervously laugh as they try to process what just happened as I exclaim, "APRIL FOOLS DAY YOU DUMB

The April Fools "pranks" I hate the most are the ones that just involve someone lying to you and then saying "HAHAHAHA I GOT YOU SO GOOD NOTHING THAT I JUST TOLD YOU WAS TRUE HAHAHAHA". I mean, that's not a prank, it's just a lie that makes one person feel like an idiot and the other person look like a douchebag.

"ignoring how media has shaped his image"

So a guy is pissy because he didn't get an interview with a guy who didn't want to draw attention away from the reason everyone was on the floor in the first place?

Only of course alcohol isn't strictly speaking illegal in Dubai...

Come on now, they probably had a whole binder full of women!

I think I kind of get what they're saying. My dad's a pediatrician and he stressed that doing all the "right things" all the time may not be best if its stressing the parents out. I think the example he used is, of course Sesame Street isn't as good as one-on-one time with a parent, but if it's Sesame Street or

I understand it, and it concerns me that it could really open the door for *more* discrimination than is already happening.

As someone from FL who voted against Scott, very frustrating (of course it got worse when they ran a former GOP Gov against him last time...erg, voting for Crist made me shiver). Though the more liberal teachers like my mom couldn't resist mocking their conservative colleagues when Scott started hacking school
