Don't lie.
Don't lie.
Well put. I am the sort of bleeding heart who can find compassion for just about anyone, but I have to dig for it for this guy. My first thought really is "I guess you messed with the wrong girl." I know that what she did was wrong (and an overreaction? I'm not sure about that; it's hard to parse how much her life…
What are you talking about? It states she said he lied about the condom clearly in the original Times Live article (the "According to" link in red). It also says the same thing elsewhere around the web (here's a few articles). A simple google search of "Humphrey Khoza, condom" will help you. Please learn to read…
He also lied to her about wearing a condom, which is appalling in and of itself, although in this case it's kind of easy for it to seem like a minor detail in comparison with the rest of the sorry story
I'm not excusing her actions I have no reason to defend her and think what she did was terrible but to call it "consensual" is factually wrong. He raped her. If she did not consent to condom-less sex then it was rape. Minimizing his actions to a "leaked sex tape" is absolutely horrifying.
And without wearing a condom, unbeknownst to her. To be honest, I find that worse than the filming. I don't excuse her actions but don't understand the view that his crimes are significantly less serious.
You mean like the way he created child pornography, ruined the girls reputation by posting revenge porn, AND violated the terms of consent by lying about using a condom? Sorry, but this man doesn't deserve any pity. Women don't get justice when it comes to sexual crimes in South Africa, hell, women hardly get…
This comment section is making me feel ill. Acid attacks and genital mutilation are two of the worst things happening to women worldwide, yet if it's a guy, we laugh at it? What the fuck?
Right? "Punch me" tattooed over it with white ink.
I've started doing this to men. They do not like it, not one bit. Heh.
The first woman who responded who said that you should be able to shush a woman because of gender equality was utterly missing the point. The point was that he would never have shushed the news anchor in the first place if it had been a man.
I agree with this, but also I wonder how often men are shushed during television interviews.
Of course Keith Ablow thinks it's wonderful. what a fucking scumbag.
You know what's a great response when a mere woman presses you on the consequences of a policy proposal? To shush…
The truth is, none of this is new. The outrage over police involved shootings may be getting national attention but it has been going on for as long as their have been cops. And we all allowed it and celebrated it. You think Wyatt Earp was *actually some holier-than-thou wielder of integrity? He was a dirty cop that…
The death of one child of a white celebrity will end it.
Is the Bay City police department going to help cover up the incident to keep the criminal who shot the officer on the streets? If not, then I guess it's not relevant to anything.
So let's assume the other guy was a DD. So the passenger is doing the right thing and being driven home, but he gets out of car and gets arrested? For what? Crime-stats padding? Revenue from court costs?
That whole thing confused me. If you don't get out of the car when an officer tells you to, then you're going to get the windows smashed on you, and charged with resisting arrest. So what difference does it make?
