Everything?
There's a Keanu Reeves/air scoop/sucks joke I could be making now, but it's kind of obvious and, frankly, I'm above that sort of thing.
That sphinx sculpture looks kind of like Mick Jagger. Not sure if that makes it more or less disturbing.
I was gigglng like a little kid all through the build thread. Anybody doubting this conversion should really check it out. It goes far beyond dropping in a new engine-there's A/C, four-wheel-discs (with ABS!) and a massive FMIC with water sprayers. The SRT motor in stage 2 trim should be good for a bit more than 230…
This is what happens when you take their beer and pot away.
I was going to go with the original Cadillac V-16, but the one from the new V-16 is even prettier.
Nice price, but for 40 large I'd expect that engine bay to be a little dressier.
I've loved this car for years. The insanity of Murphy putting a non-functional convertible top mechanism under that polished aluminum top never fails to delight me. Well-bought for the price- I don't even care that it's not an SJ.
There's just so much going on here... wrong as well as right. I could deal with the cut-down doors if it didn't have the "wood" paneling. I could deal with the wood paneling if the doors weren't cut down and the paneling came up to the car's natural beltline. The "fitted" luggage is an interesting touch, but pointless…

Holy shit snacks!
God, I want this. There's no shame in driving a replica of a beautiful, completely unobtainable car that's this well-made. I'll bet it sounds as good as it looks, too.
"It was reclaimed by the Ford family estate in 2010 following the death of the buyer." Why does that sound a little... suspicious?
When I saw the article, I was muttering to myself "pleasenotflorida pleasenotflorida".... Of COURSE it was Florida. I've gotta move to Vermont or something...
The Fred Flintstone method of foot-braking only really works if there's a hole in the floorboard so the driver can apply force directly downward toward the road surface. Clearly this guy has no understanding of cartoon physics.
"Hey Dude, I just bought a car!"
That's one sexy Optima.
The Ciel is amazing-looking, alright. Unfortunately all it does right now is point out the glaring shortfall in Cadillac's current lineup- the lack of a proper convertible. I see no reason why they can't put this, or something very like it, into series production. If Cadillac wants to run with the big dogs in the…
