The word “mod” - not applicable here. This is just a map. No modding is being done at all. Also, John Romero has a YouTube video playing it and he was also pretty genuinely surprised at how the map was assembled. It does some pretty great tricks!

This is pretty much my opinion too. The guy has his own right to his own opinions. It isn’t reflective of Blizzard at this point.

No other game in the history of time will pass Doom's longevity. I love this game. We are still talking about it 26 years after release. Amazing.

Agreed. Author already had gone through the free play process, but didn't finish it. No truly 'new' players will have any of these issues.

So Brad McQuaid was right. It’s not the quests and systems that bring people to am MMO. It’s the grouping, socializing, and exploring without a sense of purpose where players create their own adventures that makes an MMO worth playing. Classic EQ formula, and how WoW started out, with more refinements. Cheers, Brad.
