RDX is spot on. I know several people that own or have owned them, both new and used examples, with odometer readings ranging from 30-150k, and they’re mostly problem free. Price, comfort, and ample power combine to make the RDX a winner here.

I think the word “slow” is being used interchangeably with “unresponsive” and “sluggish. It’s not unreasonable to want your small vehicle to have some pep in it’s step.

Imagine the shitstorm if they named a car Beretta in 2019.

I’ve been in the E90 community for that same amount of time and despite all the tacky, tasteless things people have done to these cars (particularly now as they dip below $5000), I haven’t ever seen that mod.

Except I wouldn’t want any of those features anyway, tacky emblem or not. Too intrusive and much more to go wrong as well.

I don’t understand why they won’t sell slightly less luxurious versions in the US.

Remember, there’s a newer, nicer TL with AWD and an available manual transmission. It’s a bargain these days.

Acura TL SH-AWD?

No, the spoon engines mentioned were for Hector’s cars.

Well they’re all 5 speed, and the transmission is just ok (W58).

$7500 and some time will net you 5-10 of these things.

Don’t miss this opportunity to buy permanent ad space. You need a large van. Buy one that suits your brewery’s image and use it as both an advertising tool and a delivery vehicle.

except for that last bit, where no one goes up and looks at your VIN. Now that this is public information, every Bro will walk up to every single C8 (sometimes at car shows, sometimes when the driver is just trying to buy milk) and look at the VIN. Way to make the car more annoying to own, Chevrolet.

Get this. Someone stanced one recently, using BC coilovers made for a newer Camry. A photographer by the instagram handle @shutterthief has photos of it, the owner’s account has gone private.

The “true stripper” is something they should follow through with. Getting this down to $15k in it’s final years would be great. They’d sell a ton more. And I don’t think it would compete with the upcoming Voyager, especially if they nix the upper trims of the Journey and stick with the stripper model.

Never had a problem with the New Beetle. It was still a whimsical beacon of simplicity in a sea of increasingly complicated cars. Plus they look sweeeeeet lowered with aftermarket wheels.

Literally just walked past an E60 535i (Pre-facelift) with chipped bumpers and the license plate “B1TC01N”

Good content. I was wondering how this thing would fare with some lighter duty towing over shorter distances, namely picking up BMW and Nissan parts cars and dropping their remnants off to the scrapyard. Seems like it’ll do the job. Hopefully I can pick up a used Sport for a reasonable price when my Giulia goes back

So, I hate to take away from the issue at hand, but didn’t this guy have an R34 Skyline?

Honestly, this guy needs the SS.
