It has always been true that we get the politicians we deserve. The snarky and divisive comments are irrelevelent. Trump was elected and WILL be the next president. I think that liberals and progressives do not have a fear of Trump. They have a deep and as yet unrealized fear that his changes will work.

China buys 21 million cars *total*, many of which are Chinese made, but that is slowing fast.

It’ll slow them down a lot. The US *is* the car market of the world. No matter what anyone says about China or Europe, the bulk of the sales volume is here, right in the good ol’ US of A.
Auto Manufacturers do not invest billions of dollars building plants in Mexico if they can’t make billions more on that “investment”…
