I rented a Suburban to drive from Cincinnati to Grand Forks, ND and back over the summer. It was a brand new 2017 Premier trim level with all the bells and whistles. I had 6 people and their luggage going up and 4 people coming back. I averaged 23.5mpg on the way up and 25mpg on the way back.

A 1942 Willy’s Jeep. Much like this 1948 example, except the ‘48 is actually road worthy. The ‘42 was, challenging to drive, to put it mildly. To be perfectly honest, the thing was dangerous. Felt like it had about 2 feet of play in the wheel and the brakes only worked on the right front, and only if you pumped the

I will always have a soft spot for F-bodies.

I’ll add people that don’t read or pay attention to road signs and people that don’t understand the difference between “Yield” and “Merge”.

Headlights on when it’s raining. In some states it’s a law that if your wipers are on, your headlights must be on. Here in Ohio I’ve seen cops that don’t obey this law.

My drivers ed was a class we took in school for a semester. But we were country kids, most of us knew how to drive long before we ever sat our asses in a drivers ed car.

I’m thinking this is going to be the last nice weekend of 2017 in SW Ohio. So after an afternoon of riding my dirt bike and exercising my 2nd Amendment Right, I’ll be watching F1 qualifying at my dads this afternoon on his huge HD projection TV.

I figured that out about an hour after I posted this!

I think it’s great they added a road course to the Chase!

This race was more about survival than racing!

That move when Bayne slowed down could have been huge!

If anyone can pull it off at Talladega, it’s Dale Jr!

As I said on the story about Parker Kligerman winning yesterday, the only better feel good story of the year would be Dale Jr winning today.

This was probably the feel good win of the year.

What track is this?

I was a courier and used a Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 Long bed with a high top camper for a few years. But this isn’t about that truck.

Probably too late. But how about an 06 M5 with 101K miles for $16K?

I tried to watch White Collar, but there was always something else on that I wanted to watch and I’d forget to DVR it. I’ll eventually get around to binge watching all of it!

You’re right. I forgot about Leverage. An underrated show, in my opinion.

Saab had a tie in with the show Burn Notice using a 9-3 Covertible, and later with Hyundai Genesis coupe. I don’t think any Burn Notice editions of either of them exist, though.
