Yeah, I spent the afternoon flipping between the F1 race, NASCAR and Bengals vs Browns game. I was hoping for something at the start, a strong start and challenge from somebody, a mistake from one of the front runners, anything to shake up the running order. Oh well, there’s always next week in Mexico.
Nice! The manual Aero Combi’s are rare. What color is yours?
Exactly. It’s my car, ordered with the options I wanted. Aside from service techs, I’ve put almost every one the 147K miles on it. Plus I’ve got the memories of putting 2500 miles on it driving through Europe.
It was a great experience and I’m really lucky to have gotten to do it! We moved over there in 05 when our daughter was 18 months old. We moved back in 07 for financial reasons( I inherited some money and it goes farther in the US). While we lived in Denmark I owned a 1998 Peugeot 406. 406's were everywhere, but it…
I bought my Saab new in 07 using European Delivery, I was living in my wifes home country, Denmark, and we were getting ready to move back to the US. I got to drive it on the Autobahn and test the speed limiter(162mph). Granted it’s no Hemi, but it’s got a 6spd manual and the tuned 2.8T V6 puts out 280HP and 300lb/ft.…
I looked at the Magnum back in 04. I loved the look of it, but it was more than I had to spend at the time. Your’s looks good too!
Cool parents buy sport wagons.
I had a couple friends that were stuffing built 350's into 1st gen S-10's in the late 80's, early 90's. They were insane, no weight over the rear wheels and gobs of torque. All you had to do was look at the throttle and they’d break traction and get sideways.
I woke up at 7am thinking that I was going to miss F1 Qualifying. Then I remembered it was in the US and on TV at a normal time.
The death throes of a dying movement.

Keep you windows clean, inside and out. This goes double if you smoke in your car.
I’m more worried about my muffler bearings!
Before I got out of the courier business we had a contract with the local airport to deliver “lost” luggage.
Thanks for sharing that, that’s very cool!
“I bought a Porsche with zero paper service records. ZERO RECORDS.”
I think the Audi TT could qualify as a resurrected Karman Ghia.
As the year winds down, the fewer races there are on the weekends. *Sigh*
Next year will be interesting for sure.
