This is not the van for me, but for a Corvair enthusiast, it’s a good deal. The dings speak to its originality, and the lack of significant rust in Wisconsin is a real plus. (In Wisconsin, collector plates are not valid for road use in January, so we know it spends at least some of the winter in the garage.) NP.

Actually, the consensus of economists is that we are already in a depression. The only question is what the recovery will look like.

What the actual data shows is that the majority of the people who get infected don’t get more than mild symptoms. And think about this: if it was so infectious and so severe, how come homeless people are’t dropping like flies from it?

How many people are you willing to commit to lives of opioid addiction, or domestic violence, or depression, orended early by suicide? Those are all known effects of economic collapse, and the deeper the depression, the worse the effects - and we’re now in a depression deeper than 1929-1933.

Similar cars, in similar condition, with similar mileage and similar warranty remaining?

Damn. For 46 large, you’re essentially getting a new Jag with the right engine, a stick, and no Lucas electrics. Where do I sign up? NP.

You know, for all the funky styling, this is fundamentally a meh car. Add in the CVT, and it’s not close to being worth $5K, cult following or no. The cultists can bring their crack pipe to the seller when they buy it and everyone can share a few hits.

Psst. Rob. It’s a 2004 model, unless the sticker you show is from a different ad...

A rust-free 4x4 in nice shape and good mechanical condition will draw this kind of money easily in Minnesota. I’ll bet the truck is sold before the week is out. NP.

Moo!

You can. Those sell like hotcakes as it is, and rust-free examples command a nice premium.

You can. Car dealers do it all the time.

Yeah, the Northstar is a fine engine...except for this Achilles heel.

Don’t knock the plus fours. They look classy as hell on the course. Now, wearing them anywhere *else*...

This one’s in great shape, and $4K is close to the going price for these in worse condition. NP all day long.

Yeah, I’m going to swim against the tide here. I’d get a very thorough PPI before pulling the trigger, but assuming nothing crops up, this would be a really fun one.

*facepalm*

Merciful $DEITY. I have to wonder if this wasn’t some builder’s “hold my beer” car... CP!

Toyota considers the battery in the Prius a life-of-the-car item. I wouldn’t expect that to be any different here

Yeah, the car is a boring meh for Jalops. But...it’s a hybrid in nice shape, and those generally go for more than this. NP.
