Who woulda thought Judge Dredd would actually predict the future? I guess we better prepare for the big earthquake and rename all our restaurants to Taco Bell:

Reliant: needing someone or something for help, support, etc.

Actually, everyone who rebutted your original comment made good points.

It’s bad enough you gave him a nick name for a legal name. Most people will assume it’s short for Nathan or Nathaniel.

Your sister-in-law annoys me.

I remember watching another Mustang review (maybe it was the same one from Farrah?) where they talked about how the Performance Pack-equipped car didn’t feel appreciably sportier, as one might expect. I imagine if I were to buy a Mustang, the Performance Pack wouldn’t satisfy me with any additional power adders. It

This is the best read on Jalopnik I can remember. Kudos, Maggie. I hope to read more from you in the future.

Mitsubishi:

Subjective styling preferences aside (I bet most people here would agree with you and think the Mustang looks better than the Challenger), the Hellcat comes with the brakes, suspension, and transmission built to support the supercharged V8, all backed by the manufacturer warranty. Once you add all of the supporting

Matt Farrah drove someone’s supercharged-but-otherwise-stock Mustang and noted the brakes and suspension were suffering to keep up with the extra speed.

Her reply was much more clever/layered.

Yes, the Fiesta is a cheaper ($15k) car. And because it is cheaper, it will depreciate less than a more expensive ($25-30k) Volt. Depreciation is the largest cost of car ownership. It’s why people don’t typically cross-shop these cars any more than people cross shop a Sienna with a Q7.

Wow, great info! I put in my San Diego zip and they even offer those rates out here!

Where do you people live to get that kinda price? Dealer service rates in CA are $125-150/hour. They’d have to give you the oil and filter for free to do an $80 oil change out here.

Wow. That’s a steal. It’s safe to say you aren’t in California.

If they were in the same price range, of these two I’d choose the M2 (and perhaps with dealers trying to mark up the RS, they are). But at $55k, I’m not sure I’d want a 2 series. And at $40k I’m not sure I’d want a Focus.

From a fuel cost perspective, your point about a Fiesta vs a Volt makes sense. However, the Volt is arguably a better place to spend your time in a 25 mile daily commute (I admit I haven’t sat in either). And the Volt drives for 50 miles on electricity alone.

Nobody pities the asshole who parks across more than one spot.

Not for the first 4 years.

Part of that $16k delta goes towards included maintenance over the first 4 years.
