Correct me if I’m wrong but if he is outright buying it and taking it private then the SEC has zero power over him. He’s buying out all the shareholders. It will be delisted and Elon can and will do whatever he wants with it.

That’s interesting. Seems he found a loophole of sorts perhaps. The fact the title was turned in and issued as the “correct” vehicle will certainly help. The one up for bid however sounds like a nightmare in the making for sure.
Honestly even if it’s really bad it can still be sorta good. Like the Street Fighter movie. There’s not a lot of plot to mess up. Just have some people beating up a rich guy terrorist in crazy over the top ways and don’t spend much making it.
Street racing is idiotic. Keep it on the track people.
Don’t race on the streets. Take it to the track. Lucky no one was hurt.
A big problem is even with fresh modern tires the original Vipers were difficult to drive. No traction control, super light, and tons of power. You just ram it into 2nd at full clip and the beast will be unsettled.
I don’t care how much money they have. I get they may not want to dedicate the resources without a clear payoff. So just crowdfund it and be honest. “We don’t think it’s worth it to us. He’s what we want. Prove us wrong.”
See I think that’s the big red flag. This was built by hand. Someone saw that and was fine with it.
The Series S has been pretty easy to get for quite a while here. About a week or two ago I rolled through a Target and saw a few Series X consoles in their case. I have yet to see a PS5 of any type in the wild yet. Crazy.
I find it very hard to get excited about a Corolla. Same with Camry’s. Fine enough cars, but nothing about them says wow to me. More like “That’s a sensible choice.”
The issue is most people don’t WANT a small cramped vehicle. They may get forced into one out of necessity but as soon as they can get out of it they usually do.
People with an obscene amount of money simply do not care. When $50k is the equivalent to me saying “Sure I’ll pay $6 to have my item delivered a week sooner” it’s not a big deal to them.
Literally every premium brand or trim that isn’t a performance vehicle. 10 shades of black, grey, silver, white and maybe they toss in 1 dark blue or red.
Clearly rolling in that VCS cash. lol
Welcome back.
I think a large factor is the overall lack of exclusives Xbox has had and the fact that the ones they did have catered to western tastes. If they managed to lock up a Monster Hunter exclusive or something similar they might have moved a few more units but it still would be a tough fight.
The main issue I can see is the way Tesla handles things. From service to the way they are designed. I don’t think Tesla’s are well suited as is. If it’s a market Tesla wants to explore they should speak directly to Police for what they want. Not tell them this is what you should want like they seem to do with…
Their mistake wasn’t so much the idea but that to use it you needed to pay for their expensive cellular data packages in order for it to even work. Almost everyone has a smartphone these days. Why pay for a clunkier way to do what you already can.
And yet the same asshole will have no problem praising the accuracy of the “Nintendo Generation” when they order a tactical drone strike against some unsuspecting janitor in a building across the planet.
It’s a great time for games. Lot’s of good stuff right now.
