Depends.
Depends.
They’re screwed. They needed to be first to market to stand a chance. Ford is on the way, GM is right behind them, and Tesla is supposed to sell something they think is a truck. Even the GMC Hummer will hit the road soon. Abort this cash sink before it swallows even more.
Pretty much. I don’t need or want a revolution all the time. Sometimes you just want more of what you like.
Not for me but it’s nice to see another option for people looking for something on the smaller side. It’d be cool to see this segment pick up again and have more options like an S-10, Sonoma etc.
Unfortunately it’s the only connection to some family and friends that I care about. I’ve just gotten very good at muting people when I’m done seeing their BS.
Somewhere there’s a person that is having a particularly terrible day.
I pretty much refuse to watch facebook. That whole place is a toxic mess and the sooner I can cut the app out of my life the happier I’ll be. I certainly don’t want to spend more time there.
As far as laptops go there certainly COULD be a way to offer upgradability. Desktop PC cases have certain standard configurations. ATX, ITX, etc. One could certainly apply the same methodology to laptops and make it so that while yes you would have to replace the motherboard along with the CPU and RAM but if they had…
I almost forgot that this car even exists till I saw this article. Such a shame it was treated as almost an after thought then given the treatment it really deserved.
I’d really like one of these or more precisely an ASUS Strix version to replace my 1080 ti but I already know it’ll be a poo show trying to get one but the prices I can sell mine for are so stupid I can almost make a profit on it after using it for over 3 years. This whole thing is ridiculous.
No one needs one, but damn it’s nice if you get one.
I’ve never REALLY cared about it. Like if a vehicles mileage gets noticeably worse I’ll look into why. I track it when I fill up, but it’s never been a large concern in the buying process. It’s an expense that goes along with the vehicle one chooses to drive. A truck or a performance car is gonna get worse mileage…
On the one hand it’d be a good move for VW because with thing’s going electric it’s gonna get challenging to make Lamborghini exotic when everything including an F-150 is doing 0-60 in 2 seconds. On the other hand this feels like a mistake that would end the brand in the long run.
Similar but different. They capped performance to save battery life. This is capping battery life to preserve performance. Either way people should be able to choose.
I used to build and install custom subwoofers and amps, etc. I had my subwoofers in my truck stop working once. Started by looking at the fuses and all of them looked good. Checked all the wiring and grounds. Everything fine. Finally came to a conclusion the amp must have crapped out and bought a new one as the rest…
Bingo. It’s a pointless metric. Like yeah saving lives is important, but thinking someone would base their purchase on if their neglectful driving has a higher chance to kill someone is highly unlikely unless the someone happens to reside within the vehicle.
Curious if any day one patch improves the stability. I played it a bit at PAX East just before the world collapsed. It was interesting. It looks pretty but even in a video I recently watched from the dev they call out the PS5 version would be running 4k that was upscaled from 1080p @60fps due to stability issues and…
I mean basically you’d be halfway to another electric truck at that point.
The new Kotaku underground bunker posts gonna be great.
It’s gonna be interesting when the wheels fall off the bus of blockchain and suddenly there will be a massive dump of older graphics cards. May take a while but it’s eventually gonna happen.
