Lets face it. This is a huge weekend for games with Animal Crossing and Doom releasing. If they don’t stay open and sell those copies they’ve ordered those sales will all be lost to digital and those copies will never become used games. It would be a huge blow to an already damaged business.

I see BC as a nice to have. I already own a PS4 (as well as an OG PS3 and a PS2, and a PS4 Pro) so I can just keep that. Or just buy a PSVR for a few hundred and play on the PS4 you most likely also own until you can save to get a better card. I can’t imagine this would be a great VR experience. Adding lag would be very frustrating.

Yeah the days of the Steve Jobs one more thing moments are almost completely gone. We know almost everything these companies are revealing before they do it seems but I always loved watching the shows and getting excited about stuff. 

So this is probably the death of E3. Like the industry seems to have kept pulling out without a pandemic. Now that it’s cancelled this year I wonder how many will just use this as a complete exit from the yearly event.

Yeah this was a bad move. Hopefully they can restore it and somewhat quickly but people are proud of their accomplishments and especially the obscure ones. It was disappointing to see the stats missing and I really don’t know how they thought this would be acceptable. 

I think you are correct.

The only real issue with the Aztek at the time (besides being a Pontiac) was the price. They aimed it at youth but the starting price was like $21k when a Sun Fire was around $14k. I knew people that would have bought one but it was just too pricey.
