I make really good money and I drive a 2013 4Runner and am buying a 2012 Civic SI from a buddy for a fun car. I will *never* pay these prices for a vehicle (inflation adjusted yada yada).  I don’t even enjoy all the content on vehicles these days. I just hope used cars go back to normal some day, I have time.

Agree to disagree. The side profile is palatable, the rest is dry heave.

*long exasperated exhale*

My dad wants to *give* me his boat and I’m like ‘nah’. I grew up with all the fucking maintenance for a few weeks of fun. Not worth it. I’ll make friends with someone who has a boat if I feel the need.

About to pick up a used one as a fun reliable commuter car. I think it will scratch that itch perfectly.

They looked pretty bad in that video tbh. I’m very much gameplay > graphics, but the realistic atmosphere/environment clashes with the characters and texture details (like the grass). Like it looks more realistic/better far away in the background - which is odd.

Dude, are you me? That’s all I remember about that game is doing that repeat boss AGAIN for like the 10th time and just putting it down forever. I bought it for Switch and haven’t touched it - I’m waiting for the holidays when I have some time off.

Hey, let’s take a totally established and common detent stalk that everyone is familiar with and completely fuck it up! What was the upside of this design? This is a feature function where all you can hope to do is not generate complaints. “Designing” a solution almost exclusively generates complaints.

Well, technically, ‘self’ means a person’s essential being that distinguishes them from others by definition, so, technically, the name Full Self Driving is not misleading at all. Technically. Because a car cannot be a self, so it is clear that really the driver has to be fully (Full) in control independently (Self)

There’s a massive holding lot near where I live full with (real) Broncos. probably a few hundred. I assume there’s some retrofit planned, because that’s a fuckload of money to have sitting.

Our seller took our lower bid that included us committing to stay there and raise a family in some form in a letter, it’s where they had raised their family. This concern/gripe seems pretty far fetched (as evidenced by zero lawsuits ever) as a fear and seems like seeking out something that may annoy you personally,

No CVT for one. BOF is a lot better ride.

I mean it’s a really solid chassis and powercube. Super durable and it looks good still IMO. They also expose themselves to all the new EPA and CAFE regs when they go through their next major refresh so that’s a major major cost (new powertrain/major platform update in all likelihood) when they can print money right

Doing God’s work.

I mean it gets you from A to B, and it’s fantastic for space/roof capacity, but it’s absolutely soul sucking. It’s really just a CVT thing, it feels way more like boating.

I’ve never had ice cream at McD’s. shrug

It 100% is as bad as advertised. It’s horrible. It’s the literal worst part of the 2015 Outback we own.

Rent is market driven unless you’re in a controlled area. My neighbors are renting their home while out of the country for almost double my mortgage/escrow payment. Housing prices and rent are assuredly link, but the cost of rent is not directly dependent on cost to own aside from providing a pseudo floor on price.

Done well by an experienced leader who knows the company well? Very useful. Typically? Wasted salary.

I mean, this is Vimes’ Boots Theory incarnate.
